LTV-TEMCO G133F

Il ricevitore G133F è un COLLINS 51S-1 modificato per impieghi speciali (guerra elettronica EW) ed imbarcato negli anni 60 sui primi aerei da guerra elettronica EC-47. Le modifiche consistono in :

(A) sostituzione del pannello frontale con un pannello in perspex nero che può essere retro-illuminato con apposite lampadine in modo da rendere le scritte dei comandi leggibili anche al buio

(B) aggiunta di “pacchetti elettronici” transistorizzati 1964 per l’analisi spettrale dei segnali

Nei filmati a seguire potete vedere il mio LTV-TEMCO G133F (versione per guerra elettronica del Collins 51S1) che dopo anni di silenzio ha ripreso a cantare, dopo essermi accertato della funzionalità del sistema ho dato +24 V al circuito delle lampadine che illuminano il pannello in perspex nero ed ho, quindi, dato tensione (+24 V) al pacchetto transistorizzato (che non avevo mai acceso prima). Ho collegato l’ingresso del mio SDR prima all’uscita di FI e, quindi, all’uscita SM riscontrando e demodulando segnali a 500 kHz. 73 de Federico IZ1FID

The G133F receiver is a COLLINS 51S-1 modified for special purposes (EW electronic warfare) and embarked in the 1960s on the first EC-47 electronic warplanes. The changes consist of:

(A) replacement of the front panel with a black perspex panel that can be backlit with special bulbs in order to make the command writings readable even in the dark

(B) addition of 1964 transistorized “electronic packets” for spectral analysis of signals

In the following videos you can see my LTV-TEMCO G133F (electronic warfare version of the Collins 51S1) which after years of silence has resumed singing, after having checked the functionality of the system I gave +24 V to the circuit of the bulbs that illuminate the black perspex panel and then I gave voltage (+24 V) to the transistorized packet (which I had never turned on before). I connected the input of my SDR first to the FI output and, then, to the SM output, detecting and demodulating signals at 500 kHz. 73 de Federico IZ1FID
